The list of tire tests carried out at
Yazd Rubber Industries Complex
1-Weight test: This test is done to
control the weight of the final product In compliance with the manufacturing
instructions and based on the national standards of Iran and internal factory
standards (technology received from Vredestein and IRC of Japan companies)
2-Dimensional testing: This test is
intended to control the dimensional characteristics of the tire based on
national standards of Iran, JIS of Japan and ETRTO of Europe.
3-Static and dynamic balance tests: This
test is done to check tire balance status according to the requirements of car
manufacturer and factory internal standards (Technology received from Vredestein
and IRC of Japan companies)
4-Speed Test: This test is done for
testing tire behavior at high speeds based on national standards of Iran, JIS of
Japan, ECE of Europe and FMVSS USA.
5-Resistance test: This test is done to
verify the strength of the tire structure against the increased load on the
tire based on national standards of Iran, JIS of Japan and FMVSS of USA.
6-Resistance test against separation
of bead from rim: This test was specially designed for radial tires without a
tube in order to measure the bead restistance against getting out of the rim,
based on Iran's national standards and the FMVSS standard of the United States
7-Puncturing resistance Test: This
test is performed to verify the strength of tire layers against blowout in
accordance with the national standards of Iran, JIS of Japan and FMVSS of United
States.
8-X-ray test: In this test, the
accuracy of the assembly of the tire's internal components (Tire forming steel components)
is investigated by using X-rays in order to ensure that the tire manufacturing
process complies with the prescribed standards. The evaluation of the results
of this test is based on the standards of the Vredestein Company.
9-Uniformity: This test, shows the
tire homogeneity of structure and uniform mass distribution. Uniformity in this
test means uniformity in mass, thickness, mechanical properties, and dynamic
properties of tire. The evaluation of the results of this test is based on the
standards of the Vredestein Company.
10-Road test: This test is carried
out to study the performance of tires in service by using cars that are driven under
hard conditions on road, based on the factory standard.
